after school we stayed back for a bit to prepare for tomorrow's funfair, where we cut cardboard and sang national day songs. pranced around with sheryl attempting to make rhythms with a dustpan/broom, then went for late lunch with em and bei! had a really good conversation over good food - really really enjoyed myself for those 2 hours, after which i listened to koc on the bus home, read stardust (which chan lent me as a post-blocks-surprise!) and watched kids play in the playground, listening to the music of their laughter against the setting sun.
thank you all for the treasures you show me everyday, with an equal mix of laughter, stress, tears, more laughter, mindless talks, deep conversations, for the encouragement in trying times, the hugs, sweaters, and the quiet moments where we all bow our heads to say grace before every meal :) angels in my life have never burned brighter.
-
there is no such insignificance
in human beings
because everyone is intricate
with their own story
their own storms
a penetrating omnipotence - He
constructs a thousand novels
weaving a million poems
writing straight in the crooked margins
intertwining with the loopholes,
filling up our spaces
life is poetry without the line breaks.
