dance

it's really questionable how my life would be like if dance didn't come into the picture.

today was a lazy day!!! but nothing beats how charis spent her day (staring at a blank tv screen when she realised she didn't have time to watch the show she wanted to) cca was cancelled today but thank God for night leap rehs--- love how our piece is so expressive and free yet relevant at the same time. we did a new part today and we kept laughing at how hilarious yanzong/pearl is but glad, just glad for the balance. then we sat around laughing somemore and we decided to cut our frontier shirt collars before we went home. yay love the five of them :') mrt ride home with bishan buddies yz + charis!!! listened to their funny esplanade stories and recounts of laoshi's jokes oh goodness all the behind the scenes of double bill!!!!!!!!! it was amazing to watch, especially how all these different people who i've seen grow so much over the course of this year were dancing together

oh and. I'm SO thankful God put me in pulse with charis!!!!! background info: she was my p5-p6 classmate and in p6 we called each other everyday to talk about math and other lame stuff, we also studied, ice skated and went for hiphop classes together. and she always invites me to eat ajisen with her mum on the third monday of the month (and i found out today that after four years, she still visits ajisen every third monday of the month. without. fail)
and for all the other pulse mates too :))))))))) so grateful

the whole of last week had been self prac, which was a different experience for me because almost all my batchmates were on gcp, so it was just xinyu, joyce and I! so blessed to have such wonderful juniors though their passion inspires me so much
and as of tomorrow, most of b13 would be back in sg! except ber jia foo miss you guys so muchhh

been considering how much dance means to me, and even though I know dance is not something I can do forever, and I would have to find other forms of expression, dance means so much to me that it is a part of me right now. I don't talk about it very often, but it's kind of like how your heart silently pumps life into you but you don't go around proclaiming how great and mandatory the heart is right? no. that's how dance is like
