the week felt slightly gloomy, although i'm not sure if it's just because i'm sick and i always feel terrible when i'm sick. same insecurities, same unsettledness. same old same old.

AND I DID NOT DANCE TODAY. Or this week for that matter. Week 8 doesn't even feel like week 8 at all ugh been sick the whole week (I'm not even sure why. I think it's some raging thing in 311, 6 of us were sick yesterday!!!!!!!!) but slept a lot and I have work to catch up on now, logarithmsss I don't like logarithms. But school was wonderful today :) gladys and liangz helped me with chem and bio quiz was terrible HAHAH but it doesn't matter, they are just silly numbers

Okkkkk I shall blog more next time I realize I blog very little nowadays apologies to my faithful readers (EM AND BER AND PAULZ HEHE) today I was sitting alone in the dim dining room reading and when the clock struck 7pm i suddenly got a deja vu of last year (i forgot when exactly), when the syf batchies were sitting in the school canteen ranting all the way until 7pm awwwwwww and then Adelle commented on a photo of us which we took in the audi holding room where our hair was chopped to chin length and faces caked with makeup...... and it's been almost a year wow

Sometimes I forget how big I'm blessed!!! Heehe on the way home now from service (yes blogger app is cool like that) and this morning my lifegroup crashed my house to surprise me!!!!! I was packing my table when my sister called me down and they were there with a cake awww :') hahah so thankful to say that I have people who love me and after that liangbei came as my second surprise!!!! Yes thank God for these people, Paula who sang p&w with me in the bus cause we were late for service, for zhao and yang (2 years of friendship!!!) too who I sat with during vday service, and thank God for His love and providence that never runs out :-)

i can remember exactly what happened on this day for every single year until i was 3 i think. ha ha ha. and on my 8th birthday, i dropped my tooth (just saying)

anyway, thank God for today :) at 12 midnight i got two phone calls from the loveliest (AND ANNOYING) people ever hahaha!!! but yes yes love my spiritual family so much. spent the morning lazing around in bed and reading, then went for lunch/bedsheet shopping with mummy, read in bookstores, met weili then dinner with fam :) it wasn't much but i realised how much i love days with weili, she seems to understand everything and i always get so much reassurance and understanding after talking to her, great way to spend my birthday wahaha.

and the weather was so wonderful the whole day!!!!!!!! clear skies and wind, nice sunset and the best running weather i had this year. ended up stargazing instead of running and the moon was so round God is good :)

and one thing i know is that life keeps moving oh yes. doesn't wait for you to be ready for anything. but that's okay

keep moving too, and love every minute of it. even if you are deeply unhappy contemplate your fingernails and pretend you are very old, like eighty years old, and you are going to die, and you smile and say wow, what a journey.

thank God I've made it this far and for being with me every single step of the way this year and I have faith that He'll continue to be! really can't do all this without Him :)

So February started off pretty okay, early dismissal cause of staff lunch, mcwings with Deline the duck and had a three hour power nap with the most unorthodox dreams (as usual), math tuition made me miss lg:( ahz.

Heading to promenade for our one and only chingay rehearsal tomorrow!! Who would had thought after two years, I'm back to PA hehh. Oh btw the sec ones this year are cute and they seem pretty bonded already :)

CNY Celebrations in ny! Forgive me for being nostalgic, but I can't believe it's my third year doing hui chun already omggg. And next year I won't even be doing hui chun, I'll be dancing with B13 on stage and it'll be my last year in nygh, in nymd eeh time passes too fast :(

haha the perks of being in a performing arts class, after all the people who were performing left for their loa there were only 11 people left HAHAHA so we decided to all just write one chun lian since laoshi wasn't there and none of us are fantastic at writing shufa anyway. it looks quite ugly HAHAHA but awh the warmness of a small class >) then we hung it up on our noticeboard heh

annual nymd gathering in the hallllllll woosh in the end it became a class of nymders HAHAH quite funny. then adelle and huiyu started camwhoring with my phone UNTIL IT STARTED LAGGING LIKE NONSENSE HAHAH and bernice is still very fascinated with instagram yes yes. I like traditions, always starts with nyco nyws nycd NYMD nyc :) could hear 311 people cheering like mad for wlb and chantel, Chan is super graceful like 24/7 and when she's dancing it's even more obvious!!!! Yay then WHAT MAKES YOU BEAUTIFUL i like our nymd spirit, we were all singing and cheering until our voices went hoarse!!!!!! even the juniors were really high even though the audience around us was kinda dead :( and batch 15 soon!!!!!!!! wow

heh then ran around the school taking photos with chan + wlb + deline and didn't go to ats this year because jayca/hilary didn't :( but had cell instead, so before that headed to the studio ^_^ danced with the juniors + amandalo. hehe

while waiting for the slowpoke bei managed to catch the j1s!!!!!! THEY LOOK SO GROWN UP NOW and when wlb and i saw them group hugging we were like AWWWW until we saw the camera flash. HAHAHAHA

THEN MET THE LG love them so much. ate at mos instead which was nice and cozy and laughed until we cried

I've been dreaming a lot these few days, or maybe it's just cause I've been sleeping a lot. and for some reason after spring cleaning my room i can't find my specs so i'm blind today:( can't say i'm extremely hyped up for cny this year, idk why

Hi guys I can't believe I'm sec 3 *_* first week of school is over, first Friday of the year and I'm totally drained hahah I could just kerplunk on my bed and fall asleep now if I could but my to do list is already incredibly long so I guess I'd just post here before I do my lit ment research (it's killing me btw)

FIREHOUSE 2011 + 2012 NEW YEARS BBQ

Really can never get enough of these people hahah it was a really fun day, we didn't really plan much stuff to do other than bbq/eat, but it was tons of fun we would just talk and be silly and omg we are super destructive ._. but yes I really thank God for putting me with this bunch of silly but passionate people, and what better way to start/end the year with the people I'll be serving with for eternity wahaha. And yes liangbei came along woohoooo

And our annual sec one orientation CCA showcase!!!!!!!!! The first time B13 choreographed a whole dance by ourselves, and we planned the costumes and make up and brought it to the stage wahaha proud and yes So Big is a super super fun dance and idek i love this dance so much really hope we get to perform it again sometime soon hehe yay, quite funny how we didn't really come up with a emo theme or some story to complement the dance but all we did was think of our passion and do this dance

AND EVERYONE LOOKS SO CUTESY IN THE COSTUME HAHAHA PINKKKK

311!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's been like 4 days with them and I love them so much already hahaha, like wlb says it doesn't even feel like a class but it feels like 1 big clique because there's only 22 of us but it's small and cosy and our teachers are mad cute haha! Hubei made us chicken soup for breakfast and we were reallllly proud of it! yes there are really nice people in my class and I have a feeling sitting next to gladz is gonna make me a lot more hardworking this yearr

First CCA of 2012 (and in super long) was today, Em and i were really sian after math lesson HAHA and laoshi was really stressed and kinda upset with us, maybe a miscomm but still partly our faultttttt:( and we kinda messed up the routine at first so it was kinda bleh but it got better after that, we just kept doing routines as a batch and as much as i love the studio the rooftop hall is a really spacey place, despite the hairy floor (IM NOT EVEN KIDDING) and we got reminded again SYF next year is ours, and 95th anniversary musical and then it hits me that i'm a senior. this is scary yet really exciting hahaha, soon batch 15 will be coming in wow wow wow hope we don't disappoint laoshi anymore got to win her back!!!!!!!!!

Then went home with emily hehehehehehehe \OvO/ really glad she's in 311 with me and everything, talked about NYC and glad I'm not alone in this, glad I'm not the only sucker at math + chinese HAHAHA EMILY IS LIKE MY CHINESE TEXTBOOK BUDDY I CANNOT STAND IT WE ARE SO BAD. and yes may we revive nanyang may this year be the start of a revolution may God be with us crazy ones who believe we can change things!!!!!!!

hi hi hi shall write before i leave for service ^_^ so 2011 has been the most amazing year ever so many things happened, there's been syf om firehouse so much more and i myself am so different in comparison from the start of the year and now, i've got to known so many lovely people and people who i never thought i would be close to are my best friends now, and of course all the old friends who stuck all the way wahaha batchies jandy yy and God has been so so so goodddddd ;)

ok truth be told i'm madly scared for 2012. I AM SEC THREE LIKE WUT but somehow no matter how great 2011 has been, 2012 will be by far better >D and that amazes me!!!!!!!!! wheee for now just super excited for so big + what makes you beautiful. but there'll be more things to be excited about :) see you in 2012 blogger!!!

I'm so sorry I keep making empty promises to this blogggggg I have done up my Kairos post halfway but I'm tired to continue so HAHA. Shall substitute it with a small update,

BATCH 13 PASSED EVAL YAY. LIKE ALL. OF. US. Super duper excited, WE ARE HALFWAY DONE WITH SO BIG but we will be totally done soon. I pinky promise it will be amazing, I have complete and utter faith in my batch!!

Had combined lifegroup yesterday!! HY & wallace came HAHA yay it was super fun. The songs we sang were really nice too, and david and ren ting were super high!!! oh and now we have a lg duty roster hoho fun fun fun and mlg coming up soon too ;) after that zhicheng and i went home tgt! I suddenly decided to go and buy eggs for my household at carrefour but after walking around for half an hour i decided to go and buy them at the 7/11 outside my house instead, so we went to the mrt and we realised that red line was down... and if I hadn't decided to go fail grocery shopping we probably would have been stuck in the affected trains! Hahah in the end it took us both like 2 hours to get home because it was congested everywhere but thank God!!

After mum's physio today went shopping with my sissy and you're the apple of my eye. It's a pretty heartwarming movie haha, I cannot believe my sister is eligible for NC16 movies seriously!!! She's 18 but she's like a kidddd!

hi i'm in the writing mood, but its generally rubbish that comes out when i am oops.

Ever since I've came back from CCA I've been lying in bed because my hip hurts like crazy and reading these stories and poems and biographies on feminist poets and stuff AND IT'S SO SO SO DEPRESSING how they are deprived of so many things in the 19th -20th century?!?! Then I realised all the authors that Gilian and I are reading about are mostly lesbian LOL not judging but it's pretty amusing and makes all their biographies more powerful and noble hahahahahahaha I don't know what I am writing oh my

Met yuminatuna on Thursday and she came dressed like a texas hippie with her gigantic boots and a even more gigantic and heavy camera bag! Ate in amk then went to the National Museum it's rly my favourite place in Singapore, I like the building and it's contents ^_^ yay spammed photos as usual and went to fort canning to lie on the fake grass in the 4pm sun and talked about everything, then walked all the way to Raffles Place! She really makes me believe that the term BFF really does exist, been best friends with her since we were 8 and even though we used to fight we always make up and continue to do silly things together in the end :)))) didn't have time to meet her as much as we could in sec 1 but it's like nothing ever changed really!! and ongyijing the laoyapok's been texting me recently love her to bits toooo, I've known her since we were like k2?!? we were talking about our future ambitions and subject combis and everything, and its kinda amazing since we were 6 until now some dreams have never changed! Haven't seen her in ages wanted to go back to ATS with the dance girls but they are all so busyy

Had lifegroup at Michelle's on Friday! Makes me miss the old Firehouse so muchh!! SHE NOW HAS HAMSTERS and we had a mini picnic in her living room because it was raining outside. Wasn't the full LG cause Paula, Pamela and Eileen weren't there but it was cosy and nice :) so good to have an all girls cell group haha, we can talk about the weirdest things and it isn't awkward! I remember how this time last year the old CF was definitely bigger than the current restructured CF, but we hadn't had all these new amazing people like zhicheng, zhao, serene and so many more, still remember at this time last year daryl gary and xuanz had gotten their psle results HAHAHA and I really can't imagine what 2012 would bring, in terms of people, dreams and achievements for this small group of ours!! service was good as always:)

Dance today felt really long maybe cause we did the same routine for like over an hour??! But glad we did it though because it's so flowy and I didn't realise it until laoshi started diaoing. Before dance started the batch was either at KAP/otw/SAP interview so I got the keys and went to the studio, and when I was happily stretching alone I think I kinda overstretched my lower back muscle or something AND IT HURTS LIKE CRAZY and shortly after bern came in and we both started screaming (her interview and my back HAHA) we tried to start on choreo today tooooo at least we began on the song and I think my wonderfully amazing Chinese prowess has officially amused Bern. Oops.

dance, sogurt with batchies, get muscle aches, ministry, spend 2 days at Hilary's with WAKK making Adelle's bday card, see the tweet peeps (even if it was just for like 5 minutes), go to chinatown to pig and rant at clarke quay, read, visit ATS, karaoke with Hil at Gwyneth's, sleep, watch Poseidon, go for service, see Michelle again, listen to Pastor Jeff in person, hibernate in my sister's room to talk about nothing and everything

Finally went for CCA today since like what, dramafest?! Met xinyu qien april bernice yujia in the morning at about 10, revised and learned routines until it was time for our mcvalue lunch heheh. Came back and had an amazing time with laoshi, felt surprisingly light and free today. Got chided cause I didn't follow my xian tiao today :( gotta work hard but laoshi was super cute today :)

That's what I love most about dance, despite all the burdens you have you have the opportunity to be absolutely positively free and defy your usual movements. F-r-e-e. Powerful word hehe was kinda nostalgic today too!!! laoshi used the C1 audition music, and I remember when everyone called contemp1 balinese HAHAHA yeap laoshi used that music for our routine:) the very very first nymd session as a sec1 in our pe shirt and shorts we were watching the seniors audition and they made us learn part of it too i remember we were so amazed! aww man miss batch 10 + 11 :( miss I.D. ITSELF RAWRRRR DANCE NIGHT aww man was so looking forward to dance night 2012 and now the school wont let us have it :( only thing we can look forward to is like whuuut 95th anniversary? then SYF 2013 woooyeah and of course b13's self choreo!!! going to be so fun!!!

Felt super shiok after that crunches after like so long shall do them again tmrw :) Went to sogurt with most of the batch, talked about batch outing we were brimming with the craziest idea, it's going to be really fun we are going to work out and karaoke and movie marathon!!!! (and maybe eat steamboat and crab) Still yet to have full batch attendance!! Adelle wongsie is off celebrating her pre/post birthday in Sentosa haven't seen her since last last week? :( her burfday tmrw heheh i remember exactly what we did on her birthday last year (WE HAD SYF 2011 PRAC MAN) and the day after (they crashed my house) ;D spending tmrw with makan pal then to hilala's house then ministry ohman whole week has been unconsciously packed with idk what actually hahaha. maybe it's cause DFC is this week but next week should be more free :)

ohyeh on sunday didn't go for lg but nicler and weili came to my place even though it was pouring outside with flowers and herbal tea!! had guitar lessons, ate maltesers and had our own p&w at the end :P 2012 gna be so fun with cfire heheh! can't wait for camp tooooo:) but paula won't be there and i think the total number of people from our unit going are like... 4 guys 4 girls. aww but it's still going to be fun!

i know i'm still harping on it and i'm telling everyone i see but 2011 has really passed too fast! It's going to be Christmas soon should start writing cards early woahhohoho God is good all the time

when i was sick and sleeping today i dreamt of goldfishes and sunshine and cement floors, which is a really weird combination but everything in life is. You can never expect what you're going to get, even if it's the most oddball things in the entire world that you never thought could happen. and then when i woke up it was 3pm and i seriously felt like someone had punched my eye ugh

so that's all of my thursday! spent the rest of the day reading oscar wilde off my phone (smart phones are super cool) and watching xfactor and feeling like a frog compared to the singers haha. then talked to yumina (who i really miss) and bernice is telling me about dance today aww man i really miss nymd you have no idea :( tingly bones! funny friends called me to update me about drama fest and everything hahah I'm pretty amazed by our standards to be able to put up such a good show overall MR NG SHOULD BE REALLY PROUD OF US. Anne won best actress she is amazing

Firehouse has restructured! Back to my NYLG but on Saturday we all wound up going back to our old groups to eat and everything. Going to miss them so much because we've all got too attached over the year but we'll still be friends after all!! Bei came over to my house yesterday after drama. Webcammed, took photos, talked, reminisced, blocked cycling people HAHA. Embarked on a suzie-inspired project (we should show this to Mr Ng one day)

Drama has been tiring!! But fun at the same time heh I guess whether we get into encore night or not doesn't matter because we've all bonded so much as a cohesive whole and no regrets!!!!! Had full dress today and was going to enjoy the show with Christine the pig but ended up running around because our stage manager wasn't here but it wasn't bad even though we didn't have the accurate light cues!

Results were really better than expected so far! got constantly reminded of Ephesians 3:20! :)

btw i'm superduper thankful for my mum who always buys me dinner, for my dad who drives me and my sister to school, for the fact that my sister is in NJ so my dad can send both of us and we wake up at 630 everyday, for my younger sister who is just too cute sometimes and for my grandma who just gave me yakult :) and also for my friends who stay near me, hilary bei steph (even though she's moving to amk already!!!!) and for the nice people who talk to me on msn to just ask how i am and for vanessa and heidi and possibly everyone else.

DRAMA IS SO FUN i really admire people in drama now, there's so many different tricks of the stage - all the crazy lighting and sound they have to know and manage!! sometimes my class just amazes me, we do have our divisions in the class but this project is so big and we don't have any tcn people in our class but I'm so thankful for jf people vanessa and kaiting!!!!!! Idk where we would be without them hahah. CmPS people were kinda stressed out today but it'll all be fine:) was kinda cynical when we went for Space Rehearsal today but we pulled it off really well!

Not sure what to expect about the dramafest results but I know that I'm enjoying myself already hahah and trust me this is only like day 2 of proper preparations! Scriptwriting is really fun sometimes, lesson 14 at Lit Seminar was useful or useful?! love Vanessa, she's super responsible and motivated and we both rushed home to chiong the prompt script and bathed super late but everything went smoothly! 5 days of marking days have been happily devoured by drama drama drama like literally!!!!

Spent the evening watching brain documentaries with daddy and hazel. Ohya and had lunch with 5 of my crazy friends this morning who willingly crash my house when i oversleep...

DANCE TOMORROW! half my batch won't be there cause of dramafest:( but i'm looking forward to seeing them anyway!!!! and my seniors juniors LAOSHI hehehehh

Did drama script with Van and Almond, then town with Gretch and Liangpopo! Had a war with the rain, got lost in ion and went crazy over baby photos hahah. Have to go back to school every day for the next few days, for dramafest + dance its kind of exciting heh I'm going to miss 205 so much :(

had a minor epiphany yesterday so i texted zhao and lzc. the rest of our church friends are ending their exams today/tomorrow and we are starting tomorrow which means we prolly can't go for membership/serve the world but things are going to be super fun afterwards ^^

so my ca2 msg is definitely not desired ha ha but after staring at my marks and fiddling with my calculator, i have lots of faith in my overall msg! and i know all things are possible when you believe. all. things. and the thought of it makes me really hopeful :) thank God for my friends

Hoohoo hai blogger! I've been studying heehee I'm actually quite proud of the fact that I finished History and Geog early but of course I still need to revise revise revise and make sure everything gets into my braaaain hoho yesterday was my sister's birthday and we went to Long Beach with my cousins!! My mum was showing me baby photos of my sister my cousins and I and we were so cute and tinyyyy it's so hard to imagine I've lived with all of them for 14 years already and we're still so close! My elder sister is finally legal and 18 and she's sleeping like some pig in her room next door now heh. YESTERDAY WAS ALSO SAAAATURDAY had ministry reaudition in the morning and it went quite well!!! ^^ Ended at like 11 so I mugged with Jolene Vicki and Dylan heh! SERVICE WAS GREAT i feel very faith-filled now heh. BIG CENTRAL RESTRUCTURE gonna take place like two-three weeks after EOYs?? OMG I'M SUPER EXCITED I'm going to miss Firehouse like mad because I won't be with xuanz bernicetyy xueting compound etc etc anymore but all my besties are going to be in the same unit as me!!!! And Nicole Ler's leading it's going to be super fun! We're going to grow :D I haven't been to FH3 LG is super long I hope the BM girls will grow too :)

this is really random but im suddenly missing everyone and everything about om. especially in the light of all the sec 1s coming to us asking us about our experience, whether they should join om, whether it would be busy/fun/enjoyable. at the end of the day it's their choice but om was the choice for me.

was looking at pictures and MANNNN I MISS OM SO MUCH HAHA I miss morning spons and whitespace and ms teo and mr ng and yu lin and everyoneee. It's hard to explain but once you lived through it it's really a super amazing journey!!!!!

Finished mugging bio last night with mahfriends WOOOOOYEAH I'm so going to own eoys because God can make me go beyond my human limits!!!!! ^^

1. My twitter friends are so funny hahaha they were trying to trend #BEIBEISPASTICWONG on twitter!!!! My twitter is private so it isn't much of a help but had a really good laugh reading all their tweets!!! Colour in this black-and-white period 8D

2. MINISTRY YESTERDAY FINALLAYE went to danzpeople @pomo! Reggae by chialing hahaha super fun, even though there weren't much people present! There isn't gonna be ministry for the whole month of October because of recruitment but after that we are going to start preparing for Christmas!!!! YAY

3. SERVICE YESTERDAY WAS GREAT TOO it's always so nice to know that Saturdays are meant solely for God :D went to macs after ministry with Paula to study and she ran around the entire macs asking how to do a math question haha, glad that there are some super smart people in my unit to depend on >) sat with xt during service and then afterwards the lgls went to Xanthe's smurf birthday party so just the Firehouse people went for dinner + study at oc!! I'M GOING TO MISS THE SEC ONES LIKE MAD WHEN WE RESTRUCTURE I realised I'm really close to them :(

4. MY 205 CLASSMATES ARE SUPER CUTE TOOOOO especially the people sitting around me, Gpoon Huihui Zimin and Beibei!!!!!

5. I was just telling yuminatuna that I have no books to read on Friday, then after I met her for our study date I found a secondhand booksale at TP and bought like two books that looked super new at like 6bucks each, and yesterday there was a free Christian book drive outside Nexus!!!!!! Being typical Singaporeans we all chionged to kope hahaha and I took like 5 books. SO NOW I HAVE 7 BOOKS TO READ YAY but have to leave them on my shelf until after EOYs :(

Had a pretty relaxing Friday, officially completed our last graded Math Quiz of the year. Time is passing so fast srsly... went to J8 with ha ho he tsui after school for Koi and went home to take a nap ;) Been feeling rather stressed out this week by the imminent exams but there's always my encouraging friends;D Steph and Hil came to my house on Monday to study and do stupid things as usual, it's really really nice to have close friends who stay near you!!! and had a super duper epic caps talk with Paula last night, started ranting about a lot of things and I'm glad I have someone to confide in, even about the weirdest things ;) met yupz last evening too and so glad I caught up with her hahah, love that girl so much!! It's really so amazing how we can not meet for 6 months and it's like nothing changed!

Btw my 205 classmates are so kewt when we get sian during lessons we start telling jokes and the whole back row starts laughing teehee. And Celine used to buy like 5 packets of gummies and bring them to class and we would all picnic during Wong PY's lessons!! Sometimes I just feel there's never a need to worry because we all make it in the end :)

Restructure. So many mixed feelings about it when Weili told me I'm moving to another lg, even though its just for one and a half months, before the major restructure that Central is gna have! It kinda made me sad that I wouldn't be with my crazy FH2 anymore, the lg who I started out with and got so comfortable with, but I guess we're restructuring for the better! It never occurred to me that restructure would happen this fast, and being in FH3 is gna be a challenge but God wouldn't give me something I can't handle :) so yeap XUETING AND THALLYYYYY yay. besides we're all gna be in the same unit after all before we sec 2s move on ;D love firehouse so much! Such a small group today though :( No huiyu no bernice no adelle no joycepang only 1/3 of sec threes and no sec 4s :( :( :( still danced it all out yeah, laoshi was obviously quite disappointed today BUT WE'LL KEEP WORKING HARDER. i love how determined my batchmates are man, we redid one routine like 10 times trying to get it right. Then April and I had a giving birth session AHAHHAHAAHAH the ballet people were pushing down our turn outs and it hurt like mad but it's effective!!! APRIL AND I ARE GOING TO BE HARDWORKING PEOPLE ^^

Friday!!! Had CIP in school after quite an epic day, Gwyneth came to join us!!! Then went to OC for shep with Paula and Weili, Paula gave the teaching which was the shep meet which both of us missed! Cleared lots of doubts about tongues, and sat there talking about quite a sensitive topic which made our hairs stand, and I'm so thankful for them!!!!!! My lovely phone died halfway during shep AND I COULDN'T CONTACT ANYONE AT ALL so Weili started calling the entire world to ask for jiali's number, like desmond david buanhua zachary until xanthe finally answered! Heehee :)

Conference celebration dinner at Marche!!! As usual, everyone was late and the 313 outlet is really gigantic! Rachel and I started spazzing and the church actually sponsored us $20 each!!!! >) We took 1000 years to decide what to get, so Althea and Jiali helped us order and we shared! It was really so filling and dessert was so gooood CHEESE CAKE!!! Then we just sat there talking and laughing about random things, it's really so nice to have people you know from different districts cause we all have different stories to share! And when all of us went round sharing our testimonies and feelings about Yahweh and Hope Conference itself, it was SO AMAZING. Despite the technical glitch in the performance, the late practice hours, the hard time everyone was having battling between studies, cca and ministry, everything has seemed to fall perfectly into everyone's lives. God really has a plan!!!!!! The technical glitch touched everyone HAHAAA and we all were so amazed by how co-ordinated we were and how no one realised that there was ACTUALLY a glitch! We all shared what we've learned, and we've all really changed!!!!!! We are humble dancers >) never will I regret doing this for God!!! CHRISTMAS SERVICE LETS GOOOOO!!!!!!!

Today was Literature Seminar 2011! Held at Dunman High, and to be honest I overslept -.- Well technically I woke up at 7 and then I fell asleep again!! But ah well managed to chiong there in time BUT I SHOULD ACTUALLY WAKE UP WHEN MY ALARM RINGS, NEED TO SAVE ON TAXI FARE... Sophie helped me to register!!! :) Saw loads of OM people, from ACSI and RGS! Then proceeded to the Performing Arts Centre to watch VJC's plays. They are sooo good and the panel made Theatrical Studies sound so interesting, and Yihui was spazzing like mad beside me hahahaha. Then had break and got to know the other Lit Ment people cause no one in my class was there, and I'm so amazed by how we click with one another we talk about the weirdest stuff and obsessed over the food!! Signed up for Course 14 with Sophie Royanne Yihui, which was a play writing course! The others were all REALLY interesting too and I was more inclined to the poetry one but wanted to try something new! So yeap, the rest of the Lit Ment people went to course 1 I think! Sat with Yihui, and we started laughing like mad at how the teacher who was Japanese reminded us of Mr Lee HAHAHAHA.

When the lesson started we all started scribbling notes like mad because it was so interesting!!! Theatre is something that really contrasts with dance because as Mr Ken says, theatre is the art of restraint! But its so powerful nonetheless and its not just frivolous things. SO INTERESTING yihui was totally enthralled, crazy NYJF girl >D Felt quite inferior to the other schools though the RI and RGS people were so filled with cheemology!! Even the HCI people came up with this super kewl social hierarchy queen bees thing!

Then joined the others and went for the Lit Project Presentations thing. There was a delay and in the process we were making a lot of noise because Jing Ning was telling a lot of lame jokes and Shuyi was getting very violent and we were all laughing like mad and the RI guy behind us started going EXCUSE ME heheheh! Matthew from OM was really good! And Nanyang's presentation was so funny, done by the HP sec 4s :D

In conclusion learned soooo many things!!! Then went home with Shuyi!!! We were laughing very loudly on the road too aahahaha and had an epic talk in the mrt ^^ she started telling me about how her class calls her trex omg lmao man

Missed service today! Central went ice-skating and they're all writing in our group about how great it was! SHEEESHHHHHHHHHH

Life is so fragile. It's always a battle between the head and heart, and somehow, the heart always wins. Time is passing so fast it's August already :( and the old memories just pass with reckless abandon. I moved into my rented house on the 31/12, and I'm moving out in 9 days?!??!?! We only say goodbye to meet again.

Another year has passed, and on 19 August 2011, was the Sec 4 farewell! Started off with this really cool red carpet theme where all the sec 4s will happily strut into the dance studio greeted by juniors welcoming them in, and yuanmin and jub were the cool bilingual emcees who facilitated the events! Overall it was really fun, the food was really good, batch performances made everyone cry!!!!!!!!!! :") Yuqian suddenly broke down halfway during the b12 performance hahah. Our secret shalalalas got presented to the whole nymd and omg all the seniors started crying during you'll be in my heart!!!! The lyrics are so meaningful!!!!!! And my batch has this hi-5 craze which is too cute.

Oh batch 10 came back too!!!! The plan was to get the sec 4s out to take a photo, and when they're happily smiling b10 would pour water on them like WOOOOSH it didn't really succeed but it didn't really fail either ^^ hehe quite funny seeing the sec 4s run around like chickens and start hugging those who didn't get wet (aka haoqing) then went to lt to watch the montage(s)! One made by b12, one made by chermaine!! Sooooooo touching srsly Jessica was crying so much! Sparked off many memories and I'm still so amused seeing all my sec 4s with short hair hahah. There was I.D. 2010. There was Taiwan. There was SYF. There was FOA. So many memories we made together!! Afterwards went back to mei yun wu dao shi for mass phototaking session, running around asking for photos to be taken and then dancing to bollywood/halo/etc etc!

Writing letters to each of the Sec 4s made me think really hard and made me smile loads though it kinda made me sad at the same time! Come to think of it, B11 really means a lot to me!! we were too innocent and young in sec 1 to know anything, and I went through Taiwan SYF FOA with B11. I rly can't imagine them not dancing with us anymore, but they always will be in our hearts!!!!!! They definitely left their legacy in NYMD! SO glad that God put the 16 of them together in a batch. And I really find it so amazing that every single person that makes up every batch is perfect for each other. B11 is really made up of a group of people with compassion, love, and patience for the juniors, prowess in dance, respect and love for their laoshis, enthusiasm and a big big big big heart. They will always be the one who taught me so much about dance. Their spirit for nymd really just moulds the entire cca and their contributions for I.D. really made a big ginormous impact in my heart!!!

And now that the Sec 4s have stepped down, THERE'S GOING TO BE A NEW BATCH OF SEC 1S REAL SOON. It's so hard to adjust to the winds of change that are hitting us so hard in the face but yesss I'm going to be a sec 3 soon. Then 2013, b13 will be the leading batch for SYF.

Srsly Chermaine/Ellen/Rachel's notes make me smile like the sun!!!!!!!!!!!! ^^ thank God for them!!!!!

So farewell has come and left but it's better to smile because it happened and not cry because its over. Because they'll never really leave, with their spirit and love, they're bound to come back!!!

And love my batch! Prep for farewell has been so fun, standing outside the sandwich machine singing and watching my 5 batchies do their roleplay to the mysterious ticking noise AHAHAHAA. going to seriously treasure the time I have left in NYMD because time passes so fast it's scary.

I've not been writing a lot these few days which is bad because writing makes me think :( Ok so got back most of BT 2 results. Definitely did not do well but you have no idea how empowered I feel now!!!! EOYs, i will conquer

Tuesday afternoon was spent at Ion with two sexy babes leexinyu and liauwiau. SAW ELLEN ON THE OVERHEAD BRIDGE AT CORO NEHEHEH and had a super kewt conversation on the bus!!!!! Then we went to do our stuffo, saw ethan and then just sat at Food Opera for 2 hours!! Did the most epic things srsly I laughed until I cried love their company man. We would talk about something funny and burst into uncontrollable laughter, pause for 5 seconds, start laughing again

I really love my LA lit circle group hahahaha we made so many astounding discoveries about Romeo and Juliet today and our discussion today was so productive really probed into many areas which I have never thought of before, and I never ever felt inferior being a lit ment student in LA class because I think my friends are just as kewl. BTW LIT SEMINAR THIS SATURDAY (even tho that means no service for me) BUT CAN'T WAIT!!!

Made shepherd's pie in home econs today!!!! Om nom nom nom wanted to keep for my lg but in the end no foil so I ate half then let my batchies finish the rest for me!!! Celebrated Ada's birthday in our favourite hideout after school with liangbei happily eating her magnum gold like a pedo in the background, got our cute juniors to take photos for us and ate nommy chocolate cake!!!!!! Hahaha another batchie just got older. it's quite funny how we'll serve cake in eldest to youngest order it's always xinyu amanda then me

Today was a happy Saturday as usual!!! HAD CCA IN THE MORNING YAYZERS woke up just in time and mummy sent me to school, we did conditioning moonwalker 2 man show and diao-ed bolly like mad >) Yay last prac before we btfabtao TOMORROW YAYZ DHOOM AGAAAIN!!! No seniors, no juniors, JUST ONE NYMD! Plus is batch 14's first performance!!

After dance ended at 12 chionged down to Nexus for Shep's Meet! And when I walked into the super crowded Europe Room Zachary was saying "and we pray in tongues only because the bible prays in tongues. Lets pray!" And then he saw me and he gave me the O.O look and then we prayed and bam that was the end of meeting SIANZ I missed like 3 shepmeets in a row. Paula crashed today HAHA! And this week my lovely shepherd overslept!! Ate lunch at Macs then had a great service! Sermon today was really relevant. faith without works is dead. I feel really spiritually recharged today!!!!!!

Then had nicey chicken rice at Meridien before heading down to Textile for shepmeet part 2!!! Okay it was like my first official YHope shepherd's meet, cause usually we just have it as Central hahahaha. Then we stood up to introduce the new shepherds!! Had P&W and listened to Ps Shirley talk for a bit before I had to leave cause it was really late. The topic was so interesting AND AGAIN REALLY RELEVANT I'm gg kope notes then as I exited Textile Level 8 just nice got a call from Liang :) Textile is quite ulu ok so super good timing! Realised there was 980 just outside Textile YAY

Oh and I'm really very glad that I'm still friends with my wfl friends even though its been quite long but yeah whenever we see each other we always say hi idk why but it's quite heartening :) Cynthia Yijun Felicia!!!! Got to catch up with them soon

Ok I feel very blessed now. I have my ex bio teacher looking out for me (apparently he reads my twitter SRSLY I WAS SO AMAZED but yay it makes me smile) HAHAHA and my church friends are there for me all the time to listen to my problems and I have friends who back me up when they think I'm emoing :) Cannot thank God enough.

The recesses of my mind are melting in right now and I feel very tired and my bed is calling me and I haven't been writing much so I feel very lost because I have yet to document so many things down hahaha. Thank God its Friday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CCA today was yaysumz sweating it all out on the dance floor brings this satisfaction that I cannot describe. And the feeling you get after conquering a routine is just great even though I know my turn out is really ugly...... hahaha oh yeah we did the agogo routine and me and adelle are sadly fated because when we were supposed to change partners we ended up being the only two without partners twice in a row it was really funny though!!! I swear I keep losing stuff. I lost my phone at MBS (i think someone stole it, they stole my lousy phone and not my cousin's iPhone 4) so now I'm pretty much uncontactable until I replace my SIM card and I was planning on doing it today but then things cropped up sianz!! Btw I lent Bernice my taiwan tee yesterday it's a long epic story but yesh bernice sacrificial love

Anyway BOLLY ON SUNDAY! It's kinda scary to know that the Sec 4s are going to be stepping down and soon enough we're going to take the reins and I'm not used to that fact yet!!!!! Diaoing the sec ones today brought back such a nostalgic feeling of I.D. and everything and the first time we learned Bolly hahah, I remember we came back on a Saturday, Batch 10 was diaoing us and then after that b13 went to KAP and started singing dhoom real loudly... This is gonna be the fifth time we're dancing dhoom (if you count I.D. day 2) OH WAIT I FORGOT TO COUNT TAIWAN okay 6th time. It just comes so naturally now!! And this is going to be Batch 14's first performance ^^ i remember how excited I was before I.D. heh. To think we once danced bolly as batch 10 - 13... then batch 11 - 13, and now batch 12 - 14

Oh yeah we made Curry Puffs during Home Econs yesterday. Liangz ended up making curry balls, then after that spent my whitespace with Mr Tan (yes seriously) so we sat there talking and eating disgusting curry balls... and we spent half the time talking about them I got a stomachache after that HAHA

OH YEAH this morning me christinewong hilala liangerz and anne had to go on the stage during sec 2 assembly to play some weird game in which me and Anne ended up cheating in haha! Yup but it does shows the dynamics for leadership roles! Then we got NYGH post-its as a prize HAHA. Apparently its limited edition HEH! Then during History lesson Liang and I were falling asleep, then we started talking about BSE and laughing like mad at all the stupid things we did it was really so hilarious!! Felt much more awake after that ;D

Omg just got the message from Bernice thank God dance is in the morning tmrw!!! Then can go for service and maybe make it for a bit of meeting hehehe yayz I miss Firehouse already!!! And I need a date with my two crazy friends real soon even though we just had one like really recently hahhahaa. I foresee a busy week ahead! But for now... its the weekends ;)

I usually plan a sequence of events to write about in blogger but this is random so please expect nothing out from this post.

It's currently 1.01am on 6th of August. I've just finished my very satisfying bowl of instant noodles, and I think I'm probably going to go sleep soon, but there's so many things ~~weighing down~~ on my mind so I doubt I'll be able to sleep much, haha. Srsly after I came back from the states I've been having this impossible-to-sleep-before-midnight syndrome... even after like two months. Sheesh

NYVB got National Champions!!! Gwyneth's smile was so big big big today

Just came back from Festival of Praise like 1hour ago? (yes i came home that late cause it dragged) but it was really so good! P&W was great and it felt nice to be singing the songs that I used to sing in trbc, and stadium was so packed compared to Hope Conference!!! Went with Paula Zhicheng and William cause the rest couldn't make it, but saw some Powerhouse and Lighthouse people there too! Christine pig was there too with her cell group from city harvest, and she let me cut her queue hehe love her!! Made friends with this ny girl too who was sitting next to paula, heh. The speaker today was amazing and the message got through real well. It was so powerful man it totally slapped me right in the face... the 4 of us who were sitting together were totally so moved after that really!!! I'm shure we're gonna empower people at service in like 14 hours time! Thank God for Paula who bused home with meee

I know I didn't exactly mug as hard as I could have for this test, but I'm trusting in God's grace!! It's Thursday already and the past week has been mad chionging, glad I have friends who I can ACTUALLY STUDY PRODUCTIVELY WITH (hilary!) and my friends who SOS on twitter when we are stuck with Trigo hahaha. It's a bit early but have to put in my best for eoys!!!! Streaming year ohmianz.

Last Saturday and Sunday was Hope Conference!!! Couldn't stay for all the sessions and missed Kairos, but I had a great time nonetheless! My lifegroup SO SUPPORTIVE YAY love them to bits!!! Brought Yahweh to stage on Saturday night, it's an amazing dance, seriously hope that lives were touched through our dance :) There was a technical glitch cause Jason missed out a line, but thank God we all pyschic-ed at the same time and paused at the same position! After it all ended we ran off stage and started crying hohoho, love my dance ministry! Monday and Thursday nights feel so empty without having to go back to Nexus and eat banana balls before ministry now :/ So glad that I agreed to take up this commitment

Today was a good day! AMC went pretty okay, then had so many free periods cause of white space and everything. White space feels so white because there's no more OM :( Sometimes I just want to run to the car park and see everything still in a mess HAHA yeah I'm still having post-OM syndromes, even like 2 months after......... ANYWAY we went to find Ms Teo to pay for our badges and she's so cute hehehe and ended up talking about a lot of random things :) Then Hilary and I ran round helping Gwyneth give out her volleyball consent forms! Gwyneth is like the coolest person ever she is so naise and the way she serves is so kewl ahahaha I can't believe I've known her for like 8 years now?!? Going to support NY at vball finals tmrw :D

CCA was really fun too!!!!!!!! Did routines like crazy until I was sweating like mad but it was so cool, love the dance studio and dancing with everyone hehe I LOVE THE FAKE TAIWAN ROUTINE HAVE I MENTIONED. I still remember haoqing teaching it to me in sec one :) :) :) :) :)

Crazy weekend ahead, going to chiong mug everything and hope conference at the same time.

I believe my God will not shortchange!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) The indoor stadium stage is so beautiful and wide. the stage lights are super kewlz and the spotlight srsly gives this super magical effect, like clouds in an enclosed area!! The costume that Sherms borrowed is super cool too, even though she went through so much trouble to get them thank God she managed to! Yahweh can be a really long and tiring dance, but getting constantly refreshed with every move that comes because its like singing praises through your movement is amazingggg

Hope my penchee goes fine tmrw! Need to pray about so many things, haven't done proper qt in so long! Hope Conference tomorrow! The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not fret

Hi blogger! I'm digressing too much from Bio. And I really need to start mugging for history! Blocks are coming so so so soon and this week is such a busy week hahah, Hope Conference is this weekend too! Cannot lose faith or feel disappointed in the face of so many challenges! Woah dance really is an escape from all this crazy work, knowing that I have Monday and Thursday afternoons allocated just for dance and nothing else makes me happy! Finally saw laoshi yesterday, after like so so so so long, did some really cool new routine hehehe. Council elections was today too! My friends have been working real hard and I hope it'll all pay off for them!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh and thank God for Hilda, idk what I would do without her!

Dancing to the music of a live band is really super amazing haha, it's actually really hard to co-ordinate all the instruments together! Everytime the yband, led by the metronome picked up the music together, me and Eugenia will be super fascinated, really a God-given talent!! All the way ydancers, Cher Pew Eugenia Rachel Shermaine

Btw I think ngohshuhui is very cute :)

Hehe so hai guys FOA is over!!! It srsly amazes me to no end how time can pass so fast, from SYF auditions to laoshi slowly putting the sec twos into the walking part to laoshi diaoing our positions during the freeze frame at Crescent to listening to La Dispute for the first time to making the amazing discovery of the 6 count beats for It's a Honeymoon to my kewlioz sha sha poeple to watching Batch 11 pour out their emotions on the UCC stage to Hurry? from backstage

I feel really honoured to be able to be part of Festival of Arts! Apparently it's the first full scale FOA Nanyang has ever had since a really long time ago, and I'm really glad that God put me in this performance! I've watched the whole show at least 2 times (except for maybe CO's piece, but Journey sounds beautiful from backstage!!) and Nanyang's got talent!!!!!! The whole show deserves Gold with Endless Honours!!!!

Being a dancer is very cool cause I love doing warm-ups and putting make up and gelling my hair all to enhance the perfection that is brought onto the stage! Both shows on FOA were an amazing new experience altogether, the Matinee show and the Gala show. It amazes me how Hurry. Hurry? has so much relevance and truth in it

Batch 13 :))))))))))))) We've come such a long way. The next SYF, the next FOA, will be ours to lead (this years one is alrdy ours) I LOVE YOU GUYS LIKE IDKWHATZZZZ, AND OUR CRAZY KAP MCVALUE LUNCHES AHAHAHA

I wish 16th July's show was like SYF!!!!! Srsly the emotions came so easily, our timing was so on for the benches and floor part and when it was the freezeframe, I could hear the breaths that xinyi was taking and Ellen's drop and Rachel's steps across the audi floor so loud and clear and I could hear the audience holding their breath and all I did was try to tattoo everything at that moment into memory. stop rushing start living!!!!!

And from the best view ever (backstage) I could see all the emotions flooding out on the stage ok :( so beautiful, wanted to cry but no tears on stage ahahaha.

The last part is always my favourite part, the hurried walk we all take and that reverberating sound of flesh and bone against the bench, like a wake up call, and then turning back slowly to see my whole nymd family, walking behind me across the stage

下台, everyone shuffled off the audi stage to clear for strings, and everyone started crying as we walked out. Walked back to the studio with Ellen and Shihui and everyone was in tears and Haoqing was standing there holding the dance studio door and crying really loudly and me and shihui just crumbled and went to hug her :( then the whole nymd gathered outside the dance studio crying and crying but then people were saying such funny things that we all started laughing and crying at the same time. I really really gna miss the sec 4s like idk what manzzz, I still remember coming in as a Sec 1 and Batch 11 was teaching us Halo, and I was sitting with Joy and I had 100000 things to say to her but nothing came out and everyone's eyeliner was running like mad

FOA is tomorrow! Feels so surreal, the last time we brought Hurry. Hurry? To the stage proper was SYF, and here we are doing it again! It has been a week of Fringe Activities, from Bollywood to the stop flashmob to Contemp 1 in the quadrangle (WHEN I WAS HAVING PHYSICS REMEDIAL AND HIGHING OUTSIDE THE SCIENCE DEPARTMENT) and now FOA week is almost drawing to a close! So finally it's the 16th of June tomorrow, Matinee and Gala, last two chances to do Hurry. Hurry? and also realised it's probably the last time dancing with the Sec 4s :( :( :( :( :( thinking of all b11 did for us makes me really nostalgic hahahahaha. Missing diaoing with them already! Srsly nymd is so bonded. Idk what I'll do when it's my turn to move on. I love NYMD srsly do!!!!!!!!!!

If only there was really a button we could push, life would stop playing, everything will be a freeze frame and we could stay like this forever

So yeah supposed to go to church tomorrow budden FOA!! But David was telling me he misses church a lot cause of dance and performances too, so everytime he misses svc because of dance, he'll always give his best because that time is meant for God :) SO YEP DANCING FOR GOD TOMORROW!!!! Hahahahhahaaha and I have great friends okay!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Went to watch HP7 last night with two of my favourite people in the entire world, we were sitting in the front row and we were craning our necks 90degrees upwards, but both of them talk about random things so much and I didn't understand the movie so I kept asking questions, in conclusion the book was way better than the movie, but yeap this is the last of Harry Potter! I grew up loving HP! Then afterwards we went to Starbucks to sit and talk, had loads and loads of epic and hilarious moments! Really feels super blessed to have friends who listen to you when you have problems!!! And when I said "you see when I'm with both of you I don't get smses" then Liangz said "that's cause our awesomeness blocks out the reception" ahahahaha love them

Omg today seating arrangement was changed, and qtpie ning got moved to the front!!! I was supposed to move with her, but Liang came to the back to sit with me anyway! Today was super funny okay we deployed an army and then we burst out laughing in Mr Tan's lesson over bombs hahahaha

OM THIS MORNING WAS REALLY REALLY FUNNY OKAY Almond Ng burst out laughing because she totally shouted and then Leanne handed her the microphone HAHAHAHAHAHHA then all of us started laughing together (including the whole school) and Mdm Heng started laughing with us!!!!!!!!! Love my OM team to bits too hehe, really missing the Maryland times

Today on the way home I was super duper tired, super long ride from Dover to Bishan so I fell asleep on the train and when I was reaching my stop Zhao suddenly texted me and the vibration woke me up!!!!!!!! And BerniceTyy woke him up when he fell asleep on their bus to Jurong East too hehe, then after that sent my comp for repair omg the guy so nice he repaired my com for free. Then cause I was too tired I cabbed home, and the cab driver was so nice we started talking about dance and nanyang and then he started teaching me Japanese and Thai HAHAHAHA, how we two complete strangers managed to strike such a hilarious conversation is so funny, and Eeky helped me with my Math when I was pulling my hair out about it heh

I love my batchmates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How can you not miss our innocent Sec 1 times hahahahha such an amazing group of people ok.

FOA (SYF) in 2 days, Hope Conference in 17! Probably the last time dancing Hurry. Hurry? Gotta get the timing right gotta get the feelings right!!! I think FOA is such a cool event for Nanyang hahah, so many performing arts people in the school ^^ sec 4s stepping down really soon. There's always this tug of unwillingness and pain at your heartstrings when you have to let go and leave something, something that I'm already empathizing with the graduating batch about, two years before the time comes for me myself to leave nymd. But then again, once a nymder, forever a nymder. It kinda hit me how I've changed so much after nymd, how my passion grew over time. CCA is like a refuge from the crazy hecticness of ny life when all that matters is movement.

I find it really amusing how yesterday after floorwork, Jiajing said, "JASMINE YOUR LEG IS BLEEDING!" and I had this abrasion burn that I had no idea how I got and it barely even hurt. The Sec Ones are so cute have I mentioned ahahahaha. Really cannot thank God enough for giving me dance

I MISS LAOSHI I FEEL LIKE I HAVEN'T SEEN HER IN REALLY LONG but I know she's doing her part for the dance circle all around the world hee

School today was okay! Rainy morning and then really cooling weather the rest of the day! Yesterday was Saturday! Woke up at 7.45am in the morning without any morning calls/alarms SO AMAZING! I think I was too excited alrdy hahaha, then gave Paula her morning call and Hilary gave me my morning call at 8.15! Love my friends yay! Went down to Novena mrt to meet Paula and I almost couldn't recognise her because 1) her new fringe 2) haven't seen her in two months!!! Omg so eggciting we totally ran into each other and hugged on the platform like some ribena advertisment hehe. Then we hung around 313 with breadtalk breakfast before we both went for ministry! Ministry was hiong hahah, did crunches to Offbeat and it replayed three times, so you can imagine how many crunches we did *_* Felt super shuang though! Then learned a choreo from oschool to What Are Words hehe emo dances are kewl

Then after ministry lost all the muscles I got from crunches to macs hee. Paula started showing me pictures of her gigantic house in Indo, makes me want to fly there to see it! I can't imagine living in a different country from my parents but it's so cool Paula's family is so cool!!! Hung around with Firehouse yay had a great time just chilli-ing out thank God for them! Service was great too, gotta give with all I have to be a blessing to others! For God so loved the world, He GAVE

Crazylegs after service with Firehouse! There were 16 of us there which was a really big number ho ho ho. Even though I missed lg this week apparently they couldn't finish the teaching so Weili gave her teaching :D So I didn't miss it yayzers! And we got our Dragon Scrolls too hehehehe! Going back to school as a spiritual minister of Christ!

Oh yeah got a super exciting message on Friday night from Jiali!!! Performing for HOPE CONFERENCE -hyperventilates- Yeah had to think about it though but Ren Ting sent me another long sms last night to reaffirm me so nice to know that my leaders are so involved in my life and are behind me ;D Totally can't wait for Hope Conference, other than FOA it's gonna be the highlight of Jooly! Then blocks start right after UGH gotta have good time management

And I can't wait to move even though the renovation works delayed all the way until August >( but my new house is taking shape! HAPPY JOOOOOLY!

Even though i've been MIA from school for so long, its really like I never left! Thank God for my friends, thank God for funfair haha. Even though it was really small scale compared to last year's, it was still good fun too even though I was mostly running around the place trying to locate the logi stuff and then rushing out orders, but making popcorn was really fun and satisfying! Filling up bags and bags of popcorn with caramel teehee. Got the honour of seeing Mr Ting get dunked by our pres wahhaha. Oh and Mr Ng made the OMers go for the corporate video audition which turned out like a asdfghjkl but ah well! ^^ Spent most of the time at the booth but still hooray for 205 hahahah I can't believe we won the banner design?!?! hee.

Thennnn FOA Audi rehearsal! I'm still somehow amazed by how big and spacious the audi is when it's more or less empty HAHA. Doing crunches with everyone again felt really gooood even though it hurt hehe. Everyone was shuffling backstage trying to keep warm while waiting for the cue music!! Aww man I missed dancing Hurry. Hurry? more than anything in the worlddd everything came so comfortably during the run, and my costume feels tighter now after syf aww manzzzzzzz!!!!!!! Adelle and I cried like mad during the NYJF performance omggg the actors were so tou2ru4!!! Yeah super touching haha! After FOA reh, five of us went to nom at KAP, Ahpreel's sick :( Had a great time talking and eating again ahahha love my batch srsly do we can talk about everything under the sun like. PDF HAHAHA

I can't believe the last time I updated was like 10 days ago?!??

So we're three days into semester 2 yayhoo. The new timetable tells me that it's going to be a draggy long term with so many new subjects and extended school hours, but I guess it's going to be okay all the same :) Wasted most of my last week of June Hols in bed sick which sucked, but looking back at June I've seemed to have done so many things but sit down and mug ahahaha, but still I'm content! Idk what term 3 may bring but I know as long as I surrender it to God, it'll be greaaaaaaat. I'mma confident girl yayz

THANK GOD FOR MINISTRY! Learned our dance for showcase, it was pretty intimidating to learn a 2 min 53 second dance in 2hours but we did it!!!! We are so zai hahaha even though our second verse still a bit messy because it's the only non-lyrical part but my group is so co-operative and willing to learn!!!!! And our whole dance looks so cool, Althea is srsly so good omg she put the whole dance together in like 1 week?! and yeppo WE'LL GET THERE THANK GOD! Hosanna in the highest!!!!!!!!!!!!! ^^

THANK GOD FOR LG met them at crazylegs before service, we were fasting so couldn't eat and played stupid (racist) games again!! Then talked about Central Camp and everything, wahaha. Service today was aweshumz sat with Compound!!! CHAIRS FOR SOULS gonna give my best to God! Planning to give part of my money from flashmob to chairs hoho! We're moving to bugis soon but it'll be pretty sad to leave nexus :( Sermon today was about Investment in God's kingdom and it made me think a lot, how everything i have now is just temporary. THURSDAY. Nymd!!!!!~~~~ Was so excited wahahaha. Revised loads of routines, including old ones like the fake taiwan one!!! :) It was great to be dancing with nymd again even though there were loads of new stuff like the new floorwork routine to the very nice Snow Patrol music which I totally couldn't catch?!? Thank God for nymd though, Joy and Yu Xin were helping me to catch up with the routines hahahaha >D Everyone was so understanding! Really enjoyed myself (as usual!!!) And the sec ones were so cute THEY'RE OBVIOUSLY DOING SOMETHING. Treasure hunt with B11??!?!? HAHAHAHA

After CCA went to KAP with the KAP batchies (ahpreel jess qien berneeze) and I can't remember what happened but I remember laughing a lot. And I remember April was being very epic that day hehheh. Something about acting cute?!??!? Love my batchies

Then went down to nexus for wfl!! I was so scared that it would be awkward because out of the 3 sessions, I only went for 1 which was the last session! -.- But nevertheless learned a lot of things!! I was like the only person there from Firehouse?!? made new friends from other districts even though they were from poly/jc haha, Yijun Cynthia Felicia! :D We just sat together and rambled on about how epic our own lgs are, it was fun :) Had dinner with the lg people who went for wfl and went home quite late :/

FRIDAYFRIDAYFRIDAY had lg!!!! I woke up really late again waahha but managed to chiong to Xuan Ning's place in time! :D Had a great time, and it's like the first time in two months that I went for lg?!? Even though it wasn't 100% attendance again, we had a great time :D I srsly think we had a breakthrough that day, and I really felt like firehouse was my family and we just kept talking and sharing and praying :) We've not always been a faithful unit, but I think we're improving!!! Amaaazing (graceee!!!)

TODAY, SATURDAY! Headed down early in the morning for ministry!!!~ :D Again, it was my first time so I was worried it would be awkward but it wasn't awkward at all thank God! Everyone was so friendly even though I was the youngest, and Althea's warmups are really so hiong!! I really felt super stretched after that, and we did crunches switches crunches switches continuously, then planks for like 16 8-counts or something?? I'm gonna get muscles hoho. Did the showcase choreo thing, and really it amazes me how everyone's style is so different but I'm looking forward to learning from them! Then we played games after :) talked to Jolene and Cherre before meeting my half-an-hour late lg at a different location -.- Had lunch with Weili Thalia and Junquan and Junquan was playing the ukelele and we were all singing in macs hahah super kewl >)

Svc was awesome as usual, idk why I suddenly felt very tired and my handwriting went haywire but God gave me energyyyyy wohohoho!!! Svc today was very relevant to my life right now! It's so amazing how God knows us so well! After svc the whole lg prayed for Xuan Ning together cause her grandma's in hospital :( and Xueting said, "When you go through tough times, the whole lg will go through it with you together!" Today was a very boring day. I woke up at like 1.45pm in the afternoon?!?!!!! I can't believe jet lag has been doing this to me it seems to be taking forever to go away. I can wake up for CCA and everything but when I have nothing on I'll just sleep and sleep and sleep?!?! So weird omg my body clock is screwed! Spent the day reading/watching dance videos/eating ice-cream. My whole family was out so I had the whole house to myself today~ Then webcammed with beibz but she's watching tv nowwww

Soooo MONDAY WAS DANCE CAMP YO the agenda was so different from usual dance camps!!! And it was the first time I returned to CCA since America, so I was superduper excited hehe. Bernice says it feels like I've been gone for more than a week but more like a month?!?!! Srsly OM has kept me away from the world for really really long but yeah I'm back! Even though I still feel quite disconnected, I'm still clueless about a lot of things (like LA homework -.-) First thing we did was hip-hop!!! Had a external instructor, and he's so cool teehee. The last time I did something hip-hoppy was probably street jazz?! The choreo was very "chill" so I was really just enjoying myself even though I couldn't really remember the steps! Hiphop is very different from contemp but so happy and energetic hehe~ Then sleptttt and I REALLY REALLY SLEPT. For the first time haha! Maybe its cause I slept at 3am the day before but yep the dance studio felt so homey :)

After that we did bolly for FOA mass dance! Can't wait for FOA, its like a series of fun stuff for the performing arts CCAs :D imagine the whole school learning Jai Ho!!! Then MR TING TAUGHT US HIP HOP LOLOL. Bernice said that he's very cool and a good dancer and she was right i was totally blown away hahahaha. HE'S SO ANIMATED WHILE TEACHING HIP HOP and he has sound effects too!!! And he kept speaking in Japanese whahahaa super funny!!!! He taught us some cool footwork and I think everyone's skin started blistering but yup it was really cool :) My perspective of him has officially changeddd!!! Oh yeah, the SYF choreo people were working on their piece too which was really cool and everyone looked so cute in their all-white costumes!!!! >) Their choreo was so happy and cute wahaha I hope they win!!!!

Yesterday was tooesday. Met Hilary in the morning at 8.15 and both of us went to school like zombies even though we were laughing in the bus about something which I can't remember hahaha. Passed Jess and Denise their nude leo/tanks then headed down to Bishan Library to get a book!! Liangerz was supposed to join me but she was feeling sick so I ended up having 2 hours to myself, and I must admit I enjoy my solitude hahah. Even though its very hard to think about stuff nowadays because my mind is always at war with itself and everytime I think about one thing it branches out to 10 other things so its very hard to think straight!! Browsed for books and sat down in one corner to read, but didn't really get my hands on anything that was on my book list :(

Left at about 1230 and was homelessly wandering about J8 hahaha. Then randomly smsed Liangbei and ended up buying her a slurpee and walking over to her house because I had nothing better to do haha. Did stupid things at her place as usual for like 1 hour? Then mrted over to Newton to meet Bernice~~ basically explored orchard with her for the rest of the day, from dhoby ghaut to wilkie edge (NEW JAZZ PANTS!) to wheelock place to shaw center to taka then to ion, had a great time ^^ we talked about a lot of things that are the things which I can only prolly talk to Bernice about, from church to dance to school to OM to family wheehee love her. Had a lot of random epic moments too?! Like standing in the middle of Orchard Road trying to identify a song and when it came to the chorus we realised it was Do You Remember and we started facepalming hahahaa. She was kind of sick (from eating too much giant pocky sticks -.-) So most of the time just sat around and talked!!!! But yep it was good oh hoho

Trying to sign up for Hope Conference nowww and William's instructions are not helping >( Gahhhh spending a lot of money this holiday, need to save more!!! Especially when there's so many events coming up like central camp and hope conf, haha. Oh yeah and wfl tomorrow!!! Hope that it won't be awkward because I'm only going for, 1/3 of the sessions!

Was reading colormekatie and she had a post about planking!!! The ACSI guys were planking in times square after leaving Maryland?! Their pictures were on my News Feed super duper amusing wahaha. I miss America!!!!!! In colormekatie's photos, America looks really different?! Like we passed by Brooklyn and truth be told, it looked really secluded and dull! Maybe cause we only saw the outskirts? Aww man I want to go to America again

So yesterday I went back to Hope!!!! (happy dances)

Not everyone was there because we're all over the world right now, but yup it was great to be back to see the familiar faces once again hee! Really missed my lg a lot and they were all WOAH SO COOL when I told them I went to NYC hahaha cause they thought I only went to Maryland!! I bought them chocolates but I think Gary's gonna finish it in like 10 seconds flat (happened before.)

Service was cooool sat at the back cause the front was taken by Powerhouse! Yayz can't wait for Central Camp its going to be AWESOME even though I heard the chalet is quite small?! Considering Central has like 100+ over people haha. P&W was awesome and it felt like I've never been absent from church! Sang Amazing Grace ^^ its really a super powerful song!!! Sermon was about DISTRACTION and I find it so amazing how sermon always relates really well to me haha. And the things Ps Shirls say too, about losing faith and overthinking... but I shall always go forth with a childlike faith!!!! Srsly thank God for being faithful when I was faithless

After svc headed down to Meridien!! Spent some time with the lg, just sat around at 1 table since there were only 7 of us cause the rest was at mtg/left alrdy and talked about loads of things and laughed at William's epicness he's really changed after I left haahhha he became a lot weirder?!?!!!! Maybe I just didn't see that side of him but it's superduper epic lol! After that wanted to catch a movie with them but everything was sold out cause it was a Saturday night hahah so I think we're going to watch one next week :) Excited for next Saturday already hohoho!! Learned that other than being very epic WILLIAM IS ACTUALLY A VERY COOL GUY. He thinks maturely about a lot of things and he actually gave me some really good advice ahhahahaha. Thank God for him!!

World Finals

Its 230am, I'm hungry and jet lagging.

It all started out with CRUSH.

And how we were panicking and impromptued something in like half an hour, and we were the second last group to go in and amazingly everyone was laughing at all the stupid things we said and did. Then we went forth to Nationals and it's still beyond me how we got 2nd, and then it was on the World Finals.

I still can't believe OM is over, and that I probably won't have to do a single spontaneous question or go to the NY car park anymore. From not knowing who Yulin is to sitting with her on a 20 hour journey on the plane, from getting 30++ for spon to getting 90++ scores when self-graded, from Nationals to Worlds was already a gigantic jump. I've anticipated this liberation for a really long time but instead now I feel is... emptiness? No more script to do, no more props to do, no more spon to do. The countless sacrifices we made for OM, Liang bei giving up SYF for Nationals, all of us not going for sabbats for Worlds, and the small internal ones that caused us to fail our quizzes (oops) kept us going forward and I really really think we've improved superduperalot since Nationals!!! ^^ Our raw score did decrease cause of the grading system BUT HELLOOOOO FROM 145 TO 161 FOR LTP AND 83 (for sure anyhow grade) TO 95 FOR SPON?! ^^

Maryland was a whole new experience by itself. The people there were all soooo friendly and so nice and so warm, OM is srsly more than just a competition, its about buddy teams and pin-trading and shirt-trading and more! :) Our New York buddy team were really nice wahahaz.

I missed Singapore's toilets and food though haah. America was just potato cheese potato cheese meat meat meat and we had bread twice the size of our mouths and pizza the size of our faces.

SHOPPING IN MARYLAND. Srsly the clothes in America is so much cheaper?!?!? Hilary is like my shopping buddy ahahah we are shopaholics, went around Forever 21 and Old Navy and Charlotte Russe buying so much cheap and good stuff!! Oh and she spent $121USD on Chocolates at Target lmaoo
NEW YORK CITY WAS ANOTHER AMAZING EXPERIENCE. The. Prettiest. City. In. The. World. Now I know why there's I ♥ NY everywhere, the moment I stepped down from the coach into NYC I totally fell in love with the city!!! So bustling and so serene at the same time, and its literally a concrete jungle where dreams are made, there's hardly any trees hahaha. The 6 of us (minus Christine who stayed in Maryland with her mummy!!) kept singing Empire State of Mind and Ms Teo kept running away from us wahaha. This picture was from the 86th floor or the Empire State Building!!!! Pretty max!!

It's not been the smoothest journey, and within the 7 of us we had our conflicts and problems but I'm glad they have been more or less resolved towards the end of our journey. My group members may not agree with me but to me the results don't matter at all, it's the journey that made OM worthwhile!

And I really do believe, somewhere in Maryland I found family :)

Even though I really miss Singapore and NYMD and Hope and my family, I'M MISSING AMERICA SO MUCH NOW OMG! On the plane back we were all super sad to leave America and when we landed in Hong Kong we were like "OH MY GOODNESS WE'RE IN ASIA" hahaha super duper amusing and we were pillow fighting in the plane and amusing all the other boarders lolol!!

I THINK I MISSED OUT A LOT CAUSE I BLOGGED REALLY BRIEFLY NVM I SHALL EDIT TMRW!!! Gonna try to overcome jet lag now byebyezz

It's May already!!!! And I still thought it was April the 31st! Totally got a shock when I saw my phone calendar this morning haha. I remember when David was telling us, "you still have 2/3 of a year left in firehouse" and now it's only 3/4?!?! Omg. April went by really fast and so many things happening during the course of that one month! But of course, I'm really looking forward to what May has to bring! :)

I'm at home now, in the comfort of my own chair! Boarding week one has been really insanely fun and full of laughter and noise! My roommates are hilarious and a little too crazy at times, but yeah I really do enjoy their company even though they hack my facebook and confiscate my phone and everything :) Week one passed really fast, and the next three weeks will be rather fast too cause of the GE holidays and everything?! But yeap gonna treasure my time with them!

On a side note I really miss Hope Church and Firehouse :( Haven't seen them in two weeks and I saw the Signatures pictures on facebook and totally went awww!!! Then weili called me just now and I started jumping around the whole house haha, it's really nice to hear from her :) Even though she's my shepherd and everything I really can talk to her like we've known each other for years heehee~ I miss Paulalalala a lot too! Talked to Compound earlier today too, he's struggling with MYEs but other than that I guess everyone's fine, praise God! Cause it's GE next Saturday, I'll most likely be able to be at Nexus teehee! Excited :D

Yesterday, the toblerONEs went to Bukit Timah Hill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was really fun and tiring, we walked for five hours in the rain and sun and mud, my shoes got grossly brown and everyone's socks were drenched from the rain but it was really fun and enjoyable!! Really learned a lot and we became a lot closer >) When we were shopping for food at Cold Storage for the picnic, we had a budget of $40 and we were hoping that we won't overshoot our budget but what we spent turned out to be exactly $40 HAHAH. Zipline was really fun too, adrenaline rush!!!! Liangerz was hilarious lol she was screaming like some dying chicken. Looking forward to the next 3 weeks with these people!!!! Hello bloggerrrr!!!!

Okay I'm supposed to run back to school now cause I left my thumbdrive plugged into my class com :/ but anyway I'm just gonna finish this first ho ho!

Anyway I AM AT BOARDING :) It's been a fun 2 days, my roomies have been awesome ho ho and I really feel at home with them! Which is a good thing heheh. I'm alone in the room now, because 1 of them is at cca the other is at national museum and the other at napfa D: hehe so I'm going to chiong back to school bathe and DO LAAAUNDRY! I miss home and my cute sister but I'm enjoying myself here too! 8) Waking up at 7am, productive prep time, makan sessions with my roomies at night :D my roomies are so weird hahah we do the most hilarious things. I don't think I should write them down here tho >)

Life has been very stressful lately! So many SIAs due, so much projects and homework and OM OM OM OM OM USA!!!! Thankfully I've managed to spread out my time so I haven't reached the chiong-homework-to-midnight-stage!! Jiayou nanyangers we can do thisssss term 2 will be over in 3.5 weeks! >)

Oh CCA has been awesome traladeeda. Even though I'm missing laoshi loads already! Improv is fun fun fun!

Or to be specific, in about 5 hours!! Excitedexcited to be rooming with Liang Bei Minyi Adelle, but at the same time I'll be missing my bed my sisters and my dear lg like crazzyyyyy D: They should be meeting up for lunch for signatures now!

At the same time once I enter boarding I apparently won't be able to read my email?! and I won't be able to blog much! It'll be fun though :)
